The Louisiana Steampunks offer a scholarship twice a year, once in the Spring and one in the Fall, for needy steampunk trying to better themselves through education. It designed to help any student in a college, junior college, or vocational school who is having trouble with affording school. So as a community we take up a donation pool and award it to one or more applicants to help.

 

The scholarship is named after the late and beloved Del. R, Zervopoulous from New Orleans. He was the founder of the Steampunk Americans and supported and loved the community, but sadly he passed in 2012. We thought it only fitting to name the scholarship in his memory and to continue his mission of spreading Steampunk in whatever ways possible.
